The Sox are Comin' to Town!

Fenway is a great place to see a game.  I've been a few times and have loved it.  But it is expensive!  Now, Baltimore is a good place to see a game and it's not as expensive.  And, Sox fans, never fear, you will not be alone in the crowd!  Fair-weather Sox fans are everywhere!  Those of us that are born and bread Sox fans, look down our noses at those who just joined the ranks.  But no matter, Baltimore has Sox fans, mostly Orioles fans, but there were lots of blue and red shirts!  We sat by the bullpen and were so close to Jared Saltalamacchia, we could have had a normal noise level conversation with him. It was a fun game, Elsbury hit a homer on his first at bat, but the Sox ended up loosing.  The fun thing was, the Orioles season is over while the Sox are heading to playoffs...there was no smack talking from Orioles fans as we left the park in our Sox shirts.

So excited!!!

Dug Out

National Anthem...I cried.

The line up for the day

So...there's 3 outs in an inning, right, Daddy?

Jacoby

Big Papi - We love you!

The next day we went to Fort McHenry, amazing!  Got to ride the water taxi.  Caught up with Mike and Pam Mitchell at Bubba Gumps.  Great day!

On the water taxi, heading to Fort McHenry

This Navy blimp was circling around, doing mapping we found out later.

This flag is the same size as the flag that was commissioned to fly over Fort McHenry during the War of 1812.  It was HUGE!  The reason it was so big...so the British could see it from far away.  I love that!

Back on the water taxi.  The water taxi was the highlight of the day.

Another amazing Baltimore adventure!  We all can't wait to go back in the spring and do it again!!

A few days after returning from Baltimore, we had a visit from the Carvers from Houlton, Maine!!  Oh, what fun we had!  There was so much laughter in our house, it was music to my ears!
